| ULTIMATE FLEX® is
a syntactic polyurethane compound with a cellular composition
structure similar to wood and may be handled the same
as wood. ULTIMATE FLEX is one-half the weight of other
flexible mouldings, yet retains the necessary strength
and durability, and saves on freight costs. ULTIMATE FLEX
is pre-primed for superior paint and stain adhesion. ULTIMATE
FLEX is sanded on the back surface to correct thickness,
creating a better match to the wood moulding. This gives
a professionally installed look and provides superior
glue adhesion. ULTIMATE FLEX has an excellent memory.
After laying on a flat surface for a short period of time,
depending on temperature, it will return to the shape
in which it was originally moulded, allowing for ease

| ULTIMATE FLEX is supplied
in paint and stain grade. The wood grain patterns allow
ULTIMATE FLEX to be finished to match various hardwood
mouldings. |

| All flexible mouldings
will stiffen at temperatures below 60°F, but ULTIMATE
FLEX may still be nailed without pre-drilling. When moulding
is received at the job site, it should be laid on a flat
surface. At low temperatures, a warm area or sunny location
will help moulding resume the shape in which it was originally
molded. |
| Our product may be nailed
with a nail gun without pre-drilling, even at low temperatures. |
| Using a quality adhesive
before nailing is required. Any adhesive that will bond
to wood will bond to ULTIMATE FLEX. At the factory, we
sand the back of each part to give a better bonding surface.
Other manufactures produce unsanded resin mouldings with
irregular smooth surfaces that are not always receptive
to adhesive and can cause failures. |
| Because of ULTIMATE FLEX’s
cellular composition, it can be cut or mitered with conventional
wood working tools. ULTRA-FLEX has also developed a machinable
formulation. When a few feet of straight custom moulding
is required, this material may be run through a shaper
or moulding machine along with the wood. When ordering
material for this purpose you must specify that you want
the machinable formula. |
The guidelines above
are only for ULTIMATE FLEX. There are other less sophisticated
products, such as polyester-based flexible mouldings
on the market that cannot and will not perform up to
the standards set by ULTRA-FLEX.
Ultra-Flex introduced its new polyurethane formula, ULTIMATE
FLEX, over 5 years ago and it has proven to be the superior
product in the marketplace without increasing its price.
We have found that polyester products can’t compare
to the quality and performance of ULTIMATE FLEX. |

ULTRA-FLEX MOULDING guarantees all products to be free
of defects in material and workmanship. Should the
product fail when properly installed, ULTRA-FLEX MOULDING
will replace the defective merchandise at no cost to
the customer. However, ULTRA-FLEX will not accept any
responsibility if the pieces were ordered incorrectly
or if improperly installed. In any and all cases, the
liability of ULTRA-FLEX shall never exceed the value
of the merchandise purchased. |

| ULTRA-FLEX MOULDING is
designed to take the pain out of those labor intensive
curved surfaces and costly radius top openings. |

| ULTRA-FLEX MOULDING may
be installed by any qualified tradesman. It requires no
special equipment or materials. The moulding may be handled
the same as wood, with the added benefit of enough flexibility
to accommodate the installer’s requirements. |

 ULTRA-FLEX’s
syntactic polyurethane formula is nearly 1/2 the weight
of other flexible mouldings. This lightweight flexible
crown moulding is easier to work with than anything
else on the market.
